Transcribes and edits medical documents and speech recognition dictation for healthcare providers according to style guides. Performs quality assurance by identifying inaccuracies and providing feedback to transcriptionists to improve content accuracy.
Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of five years of experience in medical transcription. Candidates must be able to type 70 wpm and have experience with digital speech recognition software.
Transcribes and edits documents, and performs quality assurance on transcribed and speech recognition dictation by physicians or other healthcare providers, using the actual dictation, in accordance with Boys Town National Research Hospital (BTNRH) Medical Transcription Department Style Guide.
