Position Summary

• Unison Health is seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our team.
• This position provides direct therapeutic services to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorders.
• Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual, group, and family therapy.
• The role also requires care coordination, client advocacy, and linkage to community resources to support recovery and overall well-being.
• The clinician will work with both mental health and substance use disorder populations in individual and group treatment settings.

Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights

• Conduct diagnostic assessments through in-person or telehealth appointments under the supervision of a licensed independent clinician.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling services and develop treatment plans for assigned clients.
• Deliver services in compliance with state regulations and established agency policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services in the electronic health record system.
• Provide office-based case management and support individuals with both mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) needs.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Requires a BSW in social work or a master’s degree in social work or counseling. Dual MH/SUD license preferred.
• Prior experience preferred.
• Required CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Required CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of mental illness, individual, group counseling skills, assessment skills, and crisis intervention skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and make recommendations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, commitment to provide superior service, and enthusiastic support for the mission of the agency.
• Must demonstrate personal integrity, the ability to develop and work as part of a team, and a commitment to the mission of the agency.
• Must be able to work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and at times hostile individuals.
• Must be able to drive and be insured under the agency’s commercial liability policy as a driver if hired in a program where driving is required.
