Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical operations by preparing the sterile field and passing instruments. Maintain medical equipment, handle specimens, and ensure the operating room is cleaned and restocked post-procedure.
Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program or have equivalent military/federal training. Certification in Basic Life Support is required, with a preference for 1-2 years of clinical operating room experience.

Surgical technologists, also called scrubs and surgical or operating room technicians, assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Surgical technologists are members of operating room teams, which most commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses.
Surgical technologists work in clean, well-lighted, well-ventilated environments. Must stand for long periods and remain alert during operations. At times may be exposed to communicable diseases and unpleasant sights, odors, and materials.
Occasional evening and/ or weekend work.
