The LPN develops and implements individualized Nursing Care Plans to meet customer needs. They perform various care activities and nonprofessional services to ensure patient comfort and well-being.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved Practical or Vocational Nursing school and hold a current license from the State Board of Nursing. Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing is preferred.
Altamaha Health Center is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs various customer care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of customers.
The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
