This position will provide exceptional therapy services to geropsychiatric patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering established therapy treatment plans in accordance with the standards set by state regulations, facility policies, and departmental guidelines.
Implements established therapy treatment plans and provides therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed therapist.
Documents patient care according to professional standards, facility policies, and departmental guidelines.
Actively participates in quality improvement program development and professional growth activities including staff training.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited PTA associate degree program
Licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia as a Physical Therapy Assistant without restriction
Relevant geriatric and mental health experience preferred.
