Candidates must have a high school diploma, a certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program, and a current BLS provider certification. Experience with EMR systems is required, with two years of outpatient clinic experience preferred.

Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support our General Surgery program one week per month and serve as a float within our Primary Care Clinic the remainder of the time. Responsibilities include rooming patients, assisting providers, managing patient communications, coordinating referrals, and supporting daily clinic operations. This position is scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional 10-hour shifts as needed to meet operational demands. Candidates should be flexible, team-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
