The Nursing Support Tech II delivers high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include performing delegated procedures, observing and recording patient conditions, and assisting the healthcare team in an acute care facility.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and have successfully completed a CNA or GNA program. A current Maryland C.N.A. license and Healthcare Provider level CPR certification are required.
The Nursing Support Tech II participates as a member of the healthcare team in the delivery of high quality patient care. Under supervision of the Registered Nurse, the NST performs delegated patient care, procedures, observes reports, and records patient conditions. The NST assists the healthcare team with specific treatments &/or procedures in the acute care facility.

Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
