The Physician Assistant will collaboratively support heart center patients across assigned locations. Responsibilities include seeing and billing patients independently, supervising testing, and managing clinical care results.
Candidates must have a Physician Assistant degree, a valid Maryland PA license, and CPR certification. A minimum of two years of experience practicing in a Cardiology practice is required.
PA for the Heart Center at Mercy will work with Physician partners collaboratively to support heart center patients in assigned locations. The PA will see and bill patients independently, be able to supervise testing and handle result and clinical care management.
Must possess Physician Assistant degree from an accredited school. Two years of experience as a practicing PA in a Cardiology Practice Must possess a State of Maryland PA License, in good standing Certification Requirements - CPR Must possess skills in the use of various computers and software programs and be computer literate Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
