The RN is responsible for initiating nursing interventions and providing age-appropriate care to patients in a 31-bed acute care and oncology unit. Key duties include maintaining medical records, completing interdisciplinary care plans, and performing quality improvement assessments.
Applicants must hold a current Alabama or compact state RN license and an associate's degree in nursing, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Basic Life Support is required, and ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

Our Acute Care Unit is a 31‑bed inpatient unit specializing in adult acute care & oncology overflow. Nurses on this unit typically manage a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio. This dynamic environment is a great place to start for RN’s looking to develop critical care skills and offers nurses the opportunity to strengthen their clinical expertise while delivering compassionate, high‑quality care.
