The Peer Specialist delivers behavioral health outpatient treatment services and facilitates recovery integration into clients' daily lives. Key duties include leading peer-led groups, providing crisis support, and collaborating with the treatment team to design and implement recovery solutions.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED and qualify as an RSA per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132. A valid Illinois driver's license and personal transportation are required to meet agency needs.

Participate as a team member in the delivery of behavioral health outpatient treatment services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
