The Medical Assistant provides clinical care by preparing patients for examinations and assisting providers during treatments and procedures. They are responsible for recording medical histories, documenting vital signs, and maintaining a sterile and safe clinical environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and are preferred to be a Certified Medical Assistant or obtain certification within 120 days. Proficiency in medical terminology and the ability to perform phlebotomy and injections are required.
