A dedicated Ortho/Trauma floor, an on-site Ortho Trauma provider for VBMC coverage, and an MOB connected directly to the hospital OR mean your time goes to patients, not logistics. This is a high-impact opportunity in a fast-growing region where your skills will genuinely shape the standard of orthopedic care.
Harlingen sits at the center of the Rio Grande Valley — one of the fastest-growing regions in Texas — offering a semi-tropical climate, affordable housing, and zero state income tax that stretch your earnings further than most markets. South Padre Island's beaches are less than an hour away, and the area's family-friendly culture, strong schools, and welcoming community make it an easy place to put down roots. Whether you're drawn by the outdoor lifestyle, the low cost of living, or simply the chance to build something meaningful in an underserved region, the Valley delivers on both professional ambition and personal quality of life.
