As a CST you will

• Prepare surgical supplies and equipment for scheduled and emergency procedures
• Assist in prepping patients, including cleansing and draping surgical sites for Organ Transplant
• Work closely with surgeons and the surgical team during procedures
• Maintain accurate instrument and sharps counts
• Handle surgical specimens for lab processing
• Apply post-procedure dressings and/or casts as needed

A few must-haves for CSTs

• Active CST license in the state of Indiana
• Current BLS certification
• 3+ years of recent surgical tech experience with organ transplant- liver transplant skills are required.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in basic vital signs and medication administration
