Requires an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and a valid driver's license. Certification from a national organization like ASCP or AMT is preferred.
Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician/Testing Personnel
Full-time Medical Laboratory Technician in our Hospital Laboratory. Five (5), 8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 7:30 PM, with start times varying from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Includes weekend rotation, on-call requirements, and occasional night shifts. All schedules are based on business needs.
Daily performance of all phases of Laboratory operation to provide precise, accurate laboratory results in a timely manner to the provider. This contributes to the proper diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of the patient. An Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technician/completion of a Medical Laboratory Technician Program required.
