The NP/PA will assess, diagnose, and treat patients while collaborating with a medical team to implement evidence-based treatment plans. Responsibilities include ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and documenting all patient interactions.
Candidates must hold a current NP or PA license in Wisconsin, a DEA license, and BLS certification. A Master's degree and relevant certifications such as ACLS or PALS may be required depending on the specialty.
Position description
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will assess, diagnose, prescribe medications, order tests and collaborate with medical team members to ensure the best treatment plan for each patient. As a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services in collaboration with the physician. You may work with a wide range of patients and provide quality care from maintenance and prevention to treating injury and illness. This individual works within a cooperative department, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction.
12 hour shift Monday through Friday. 6 hours shift Saturday and Sunday. 24 hours per pay period.
