The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing services and patient care within the emergency department. Responsibilities include managing individualized care through patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation.
Candidates must have a nursing diploma or degree and a valid Florida or compact state RN license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale upon hire, with PALS and CPI required within 90 days.
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing services and patient care in variety of settings. This position follows established nursing process, including patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. This position ensures adherence to hospital or department policies, and nursing procedures, standards, and practices. Manages individualized, goal directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and Hospital policies and procedures.
