The Medical Assistant supports wellness providers by handling patient onboarding, phlebotomy, and clinical documentation. They are also responsible for managing laboratory orders, clinical inventory, and ensuring a high-quality patient experience.
Candidates should have phlebotomy experience and preferably a Medical Assistant certification. Proficiency in EMR systems and strong organizational skills are required to thrive in a fast-paced wellness environment.
The Medical Assistant serves as a key member of our clinical team and will work directly alongside our wellness providers to support patient care, clinic operations, and treatment delivery. This individual will assist with patient onboarding, laboratory coordination, phlebotomy, scribing, inventory management, patient education, and day-to-day clinical operations while ensuring a seamless patient experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, positive, dependable, and passionate about wellness, preventative medicine, and helping others achieve optimal health. Clinical Support Assist providers during patient consultations and treatments Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and patient information Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection Prepare treatment rooms and clinical equipment Assist with patient flow throughout the clinic Provide pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions to patients Support wellness, hormone optimization, weight loss, and longevity programs Patient Experience Welcome and onboard new patients Educate patients on treatment protocols and provider recommendations Ensure a professional, caring, and exceptional patient experience Coordinate patient follow-up and communication as directed Answer patient questions and direct concerns appropriately Administrative & Operational Support Scribe during patient visits and maintain accurate documentation Submit, track, and manage laboratory orders and results Coordinate communication with laboratory partners Manage inventory and clinical supplies Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms Perform room turnover between patients Assist with clinic workflow optimization and operational efficiency What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred Phlebotomy experience required Strong computer and EMR proficiency Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Exceptional attention to detail Professional communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
