Perform a variety of technical radiographic procedures for diagnosis and intervention under the direction of a Radiologist. Assume responsibility for designated areas and apply independent judgment to ensure accurate imaging.
Requires certification from the ARRT and licensure as a Florida Radiologic Technologist. Must also possess Basic Life Support/CPR certification and pass a background screening.
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Technologist will assume responsibility for all designated areas and procedures as required.
