The PET CT Technologist is responsible for handling, administering, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals while performing quality control and aseptic techniques. They collaborate with radiology physicians to provide expert evaluations and manage medical records for outpatient imaging patients.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program with valid New York State Nuclear Medicine and ARRT certifications. BLS certification and specific licensure for contrast injection are required.

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)(MR) New York State Department of Health Diagnostic Radiography License with contrast Previous experience in PET/CT, PET/CT Cardiology and research Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist IV insertion/Isotope injection Required Criteria Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology Program - A.S. or B.S.
