Requires a certificate or associate's degree in anesthesia technology or a related field. Certification from ASATT is preferred, and candidates should possess strong knowledge of sterile techniques and medical equipment.
The Anesthesia Technician is a key member of the anesthesia care team, responsible for assisting anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, and other medical personnel in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures. This role ensures that anesthesia equipment is properly maintained and set up and assists in monitoring patients during procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.
