The Registered Nurse-ECMO provides expert care for critically ill patients, focusing on the management of the ECMO pump and coordinating with the critical care team. Responsibilities include evaluating patient outcomes, responding to life-saving situations, and providing education to patient families.
Candidates must have a nursing degree (Associate's required, Bachelor's preferred) and 1-3 years of acute care experience including ECMO pump orientation. Required certifications include a Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days.
