Overview Certified Pharmacy Technician – Inpatient, travel assignment in a surgery center setting in Tuba City, Arizona. Start date: 06/29/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,832 – $2,941. Guaranteed hours: 0.0.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with inpatient medication preparation, dispensing, and verification under supervision.
Support sterile compounding, unit-dose packaging, and medication storage and labeling accuracy.
Participate in medication reconciliation and respond to routine medication-related inquiries from care teams.
Maintain inventory, restock shelves, and manage controlled substances per policy and regulations.
Document procedures and ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and medication safety initiatives.
Communicate effectively with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to resolve medication-related issues during rounds and department workflows.

Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a school recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) as required by the Job Notes.
Current valid license to practice Pharmacy in a State or Territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist; minimum of one (1) year experience as a Clinical Pharmacist.
Ability to work in an inpatient/surgical center environment and participate in rotating shifts as needed.
Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start.
