Overview Cardiovascular Technologist (OR - CVOR Tech) – Plattsburgh, NY. Start date 06/18/2026 for 4 weeks. 3x12-hour day shifts in a hospital OR setting. Travel - temporary assignment with weekly pay ranging from $1,705 to $1,781. No guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub in eligible CVOR and general surgical cases; assist with case setup, instrumentation, and sterile technique
• Prepare the operative field, manage implants/devices, and operate or troubleshoot OR equipment as needed
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, IV starts, and coordination with anesthesia and surgical teams
• Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and assist with specimen labeling and EPIC entry; support efficient case turnover
• Adhere to unit protocols, participate in case rotation, and collaborate with OR staff and ASC float as required

Requirements

• Licensure: New York license
• Certifications: BLS; NBSTSA certification or equivalent required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years clinical experience; minimum 2 years in the specialty; vascular skills are a must
• Skills: Circulate and scrub capabilities; strong vascular and general surgical knowledge; ability to float to ASC as needed
• Travel: Prior travel experience preferred; ability to work in a hospital OR environment and rotate shifts
