Description Med-Surg/CCU - Registered Nurse (RN)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Summary: Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg/CCU team. The RN will be responsible for coordinating and evaluating the nursing care for an assigned number of acute care patients in accordance with hospital standards and policies. This role involves performing a variety of professional nursing duties and supervising LPN and HCT staff on the patient care team.
Provide patient-centered care and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. Coordinate and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients, ensuring adherence to established standards of practice and ethics. Perform a variety of professional nursing duties, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Supervise and support LPN and HCT staff, providing guidance and ensuring quality care delivery. Exercise good judgment, innovation, and discretion in the care of patients. Maintain effective verbal communication and demonstrate the ability to adapt to changes in patient care requirements. Participate in ongoing professional growth and development, exploring personal behavior and practice improvements. Current RN license from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing. Preference given for specialized training in all areas except Med-Surg, which is an entry-level position. Ability to provide nursing care requiring specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and adaptability to change. Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
