Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat neonates in a Level III NICU. Develop individualized treatment plans, order diagnostic tests, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
Requires a Master of Science in Nursing, active Michigan APRN licensure, and national NP certification. Candidates must have at least one year of Neonatology experience and current BLS and NRP certifications.
Active Michigan licensure Board certification AHA BLS and NRP certifications Minimum 1-year Neonatology experience or equivalent
Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology, pediatrics) Licenses & Certifications: Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Michigan National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners [AANP]) Experience: While specific requirements may vary, most locum APP positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialty
Travel: If you reside greater than 50 miles from the facility you are eligible for travel benefits. You will have your travel and lodging arranged by our travel department and paid for in full. Please note that this position is offered as an independent contractor (1099) role and does not include the typical benefits associated with a W-2 employment, such as health insurance, retirement contributions, or paid time off.
