The Registered Nurse will assist physicians in the clinic, room patients, and manage medical documentation. Responsibilities also include providing patient education, handling triage calls, and administering injections.
A valid RN license and the ability to use various computer programs are required. Experience in ophthalmology is preferred but not mandatory.
Assist the physician during the clinic. Room patients and obtain medical histories. Document into the electronic medical record. Provide patient education. Complete prior authorizations for procedures. Triage phone calls and respond to tasks. Administer injections. Travel to other offices for the clinic as scheduled. Perform other clinical duties as needed. Qualifications include: RN License Ability to effectively enter information into a variety of computer programs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to provide excellent patient service. Ophthalmology experience preferred but not required.
