The Placement Specialist manages the intake, assessment, and coordination of out-of-home care for children to ensure they are placed in appropriate settings. They act as a liaison between foster parents, case management agencies, and the Department of Children and Families.
include a bachelor's degree in human services or behavioral health and two years of child welfare experience. Candidates should have a valid Florida driver's license and preferably a Child Protective Professional certification.

As the initial point of contact with KCI, the Placement Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate intake, assessment, and coordination of out-of-home care for children at Kids Central Inc., operating within Florida Statutes, Florida Administrative Code, and KCI operating procedures.
• Education/Experience
Certification as a Child Protective Professional preferred
Current Background Clearance Screening Letter: Valid Florida driver’s license
This job regularly operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
