Requires a Master's or doctoral degree in nursing with PMHNP certification and active licensure in Oregon. Experience in psychiatric assessment and medication management is preferred.
We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered advanced practice clinician to join our behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to individuals across the lifespan, supporting diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and ongoing follow-up in a supportive remote clinical environment.
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and follow-up visits. Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical best practices. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with scope of practice and applicable regulations. Monitor patient progress, side effects, and treatment response through regular assessment and documentation. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, nurses, and other care team members to coordinate integrated care. Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medication adherence, and wellness strategies. Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. Respond to urgent behavioral health concerns and participate in care coordination as needed. Maintain current knowledge of psychiatric standards, evidence-based practices, and regulatory requirements.
Master’s or doctoral degree in nursing with advanced practice psychiatric training. Current certification as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. Active licensure and any required prescriptive authority in Oregon. Experience providing psychiatric assessment and medication management preferred. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to build trust with diverse patient populations. Proficiency with electronic health records and standard clinical documentation practices. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative care team. Preferred Attributes Experience in outpatient, community mental health, or integrated care settings. Familiarity with trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, or crisis intervention. Commitment to culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
