The CNA is responsible for delivering basic patient care, including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance, under nursing supervision. They also monitor and record vital signs and support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
Candidates must have completed a nursing assistant training course and hold a current state certification as a Nursing Assistant. CPR/BCLS certification is required, and six months of experience in acute or long-term care is preferred.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, supporting patients' comfort and assisting with daily living activities and clinical procedures.
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a healthcare environment.
