Therapy Aide- Outpatient

Primary Purpose Provides assistance to therapist and leadership to support staff to enhance the patient's healing process, recovery and return to independence.

Experience

• Must have two years of experience in a rehabilitative or healthcare setting.
• Equivalent
• Education and/or
• Experience: May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute the experience requirements.
• Certification/Registration/Licensure: Must have a current Heartsaver CPR course completion card within 90 days of hire and/or placement in job from one of the following: American Heart Association American Red Cross Rescuer Military Training Network.

• Abilities: Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must be able to utilize required software for assigned department. Must be able to demonstrate patient valued/patient centered care. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skill in meeting age related and handicapped patients' needs. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of treatment equipment.
