Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

Experience in a fast-paced medical environment is essential, as you'll be involved in various specialties within the field of anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team members Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia plans Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures

Requirements

Associate degree or higher in Nursing with CRNA certification Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA preferred Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and medications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Collaboration skills with multi-disciplinary teams Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking abilities

Schedule: 8 or 10-hour day shifts

General Surgery, vascular, healthy peds, neonates/sick peds, OB, high risk OB, trauma, ortho, neuro (heads), neuro (spine), thoracic, urology, gynecological, ENT, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and plastics

EMR: Epic

3 years of experience preferred

Must be board-certified
