How you'll contribute
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports clinical operations in the Pain Management Center by providing direct patient care, assisting with procedures, and supporting providers and advanced practice clinicians. This role is essential to maintaining efficient patient flow, optimizing provider productivity, and ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centered care throughout clinic and procedural visits.
Prepare patients for clinic visits and procedures, including rooming, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and reviewing clinical history
Assist providers and APPs during pain management procedures and injections as directed
Provide pre‑ and post‑procedure patient education and discharge instructions
Support patient flow to ensure timely room turnover and efficient clinic throughput
Perform clinical tasks within LPN scope, including injections, wound care, specimen handling, and documentation
Coordinate follow‑up care, diagnostic testing, referrals, and procedure scheduling
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Ensure exam rooms and procedure areas are stocked, cleaned, and compliant with safety and infection control standards
Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff to support continuity of care
Assist with inventory management and equipment readiness for procedures
Adhere to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and scope‑of‑practice requirements
