Physical Therapist Assistant – Orthopedic Outpatient Care in Boca Raton For the PTA Who Likes Practical Rehab Work This role is hands-on, active, and patient-facing. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll help patients complete the treatment plan created by the Physical Therapist and support progress through movement, exercise, and education. The clinic is PT-owned, outpatient orthopedic, and located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Patient Volume You’ll typically work with 2 patients per hour, allowing for focused instruction and better patient interaction.

Responsibilities

Assist with treatment under the supervision of a licensed PT Guide patients through strengthening, stretching, balance, and mobility exercises Support gait training and functional movement activities Watch patient performance, comfort, and safety Communicate patient updates to the supervising PT Reinforce home exercise programs Complete accurate daily notes Keep treatment areas clean, prepared, and organized Active Florida PTA License PTA Degree required Outpatient experience required, including clinical rotation experience for new graduates New graduates are welcome to apply Interest in orthopedic outpatient care Schedule, Pay, and Benefits Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year Schedule: Flexible — 4-day work schedule or Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance 401K plan with Company Match 3 weeks PTO Put your PTA training to work in a clinic where your role supports real functional progress.
