Provide general medical assistant guidance to Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery providers in an outpatient setting. Support the goals of Mercy Medical Center by ensuring patients have easy access to high-quality care and service.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of a Medical Assistant Program, and at least one year of experience in a medical office. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Epic software is required, with CPR certification preferred.
Provides general Medical Assistant guidance to Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery physicians and physician assistants (6 providers)in an outpatient setting in the Weinberg Center for Women's Health and Medicine. The staff member demonstrates competency when providing individualized care to specific patients. Microsoft Word, Excel Microsoft Outlook Epic Performance Manager/NetLearning Computer proficiency and technical aptitude Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public. Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Other Requirements: Required to travel to satellite offices.
