Performs specimen procurement and processing of laboratory specimens while providing general laboratory support functions. Ensures tasks are completed efficiently to meet departmental turnaround time standards and maintains patient PHI security.
Requires a high school equivalent or GED, with a preference for formal training from an accredited phlebotomy or medical assistant program. A Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification is preferred upon hire.
