Provides clinical support to patient care staff by performing duties such as taking vital signs and assisting patients with daily living activities. Responsibilities also include replenishing supplies and performing specialized tasks like EKGs and phlebotomy.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and less than one year of experience as a Nursing Assistant, EMT, or Nursing Student. Heartsaver CPR/AED certification is required upon hire, while CNA certification is preferred.

WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital Emergency Department is a 15 bed department that cares for patients of all ages and manages a broad spectrum of medical emergencies. The department is a designated Stroke Center, offering opportunities for advanced, high‑impact care.
Provides clinical support services to patient care staff by performing a variety of duties related to patient care. Takes patient vital signs, assists patients with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, feeding, toileting, etc.), inventories and replenishes supplies and equipment, and performs special assigned and or delegated duties such as performing EKGs, Point-of-Care testing, phlebotomy and splinting.
