The Registered Nurse evaluates critically ill patients, administers advanced care, and coordinates with the critical care team to manage life-threatening health problems. They are responsible for responding to life-saving situations and guiding the activities of ancillary patient care personnel.
Candidates must have a nursing diploma, associate, or bachelor's degree and a valid Florida or compact state RN license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS (within 90 days), and NIH Stroke Scale.
