• - $118,000 to $135,000+ Base Salary, negotiable dependent on experience

Position description

The new neurology physician assistant or nurse practitioner will work in a collaborative environment with an established, integrated care team of physicians, advanced practice providers, RNs, LPNs, medical assistants, and non-clinical support staff.

Providers are supported by highly-trained clinical assistants and on-site management in comfortable, modern settings. This includes scribes and staff to perform administrative tasks, ensuring providers are able to focus solely on patient care.

Duties

• of the role include, but are not limited to:
• provide routine outpatient neurology care
• chronic headache management
• Botox treatments
• oversee patients’ healthcare
• conduct physical examinations
• interpret lab tests
• management of acute or episodic illnesses
• management of stable chronic illnesses

Providers see a variable (and always manageable) number of patients per day, based upon needs and types of appointments scheduled.

The office boasts a robust list of services, ensuring they’re able to effectively treat all neurology conditions and needs.

The office uses the AthenaHealth EHR.

Requirements

• New York NP or PA license
• board certification (PA-C, FNP, etc.)
• DEA - 1+ year advanced practice experience strongly preferred
• previous RN or similar neurology experience may be considered
• Botox experience preferred
• pain management experience preferred
