Provide routine outpatient gastroenterology care and oversee patient healthcare through physical exams and lab interpretations. Manage both acute episodic illnesses and stable chronic conditions within a collaborative integrated care team.
Requires a New York NP or PA license, board certification, and a DEA license. At least one year of advanced practice experience is strongly preferred, though previous RN experience in gastroenterology may be considered.

The new gastroenterology physician assistant or nurse practitioner will work in a collaborative environment with an integrated care team of physicians, advanced practice providers, RNs, LPNs, medical assistants, and non-clinical support staff. The clinical team currently consists of four (4) gastroenterologist physicians and two (2) gastroenterology advanced practice providers.
Providers are supported by highly-trained clinical assistants and on-site management in comfortable, modern settings. This includes scribes and staff to perform administrative tasks, ensuring providers are able to focus solely on patient care.
Providers see a variable (and always manageable) number of patients per day, based upon needs and types of appointments scheduled.
The office boasts a robust list of services, ensuring they’re able to effectively treat all gastroenterology conditions and needs.
The office uses the AthenaHealth EHR.
