The Psychiatrist provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for patients across the lifespan, with a focus on children and adolescents. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, schools, and community partners to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, complete an accredited Psychiatry Residency, and possess a valid medical license in Georgia or South Carolina. Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry and a current DEA registration are also required.
The Psychiatrist provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management services for patients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults as appropriate to the provider's training and scope of practice. The Psychiatrist works collaboratively with primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, nursing staff, families, caregivers, schools, and community partners to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
