Practice comprehensive ophthalmology focusing on cataract surgery and the treatment of various retinal and inflammatory eye diseases. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and optometrists to provide patient-centered care across clinics and surgery centers.
Requires unrestricted licensure in New York and Board Certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology. An active and unrestricted DEA license is also mandatory.
Practice features multiple Ophthalmologists and is fully supported with a team of clinical & non-clinical staff as well as Optometrists. Practice comprehensive ophthalmology with fellowship trained physicians that specialize in small-incision cataract surgery, screening and treatment of diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular diseases, floaters, central serous retinopathy, and inflammatory eye diseases. Clinicians in this department will have access to privileges in ambulatory surgical centers and community hospitals. What makes an Optum Care organization different?
