Responsible for drawing blood samples from in-patients and outpatients and transporting them to the laboratory for analysis. Participates in quality improvement activities and adheres to safety and infection control standards.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of a phlebotomy training program or certificate. Candidates should have manual dexterity and the ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
