Provide direct care to residents in a 40-bed healthcare unit to help them maintain the highest level of functioning. Assist residents in adapting to independent living safely and in accordance with physician orders and regulations.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program with current certification. A minimum of three months of work experience in basic nursing procedures is required.
Healthcare Aide: Full Time 7am-3pm
Lake Prince Woods is a not-for-profit Retirement Community located in Suffolk, VA. We are looking for a compassionate and committed team member to join our 40 bed Healthcare Unit. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct resident care, assisting the resident to reach and maintain the highest level of functioning in accordance with physician’s orders, company and industry standards and federal and state regulations. Encourages and promotes resident’s ability to adapt and adjust to living independently as speedily and safely as possible.
High School graduate or G.E.D.
Minimum of three (3) months work experience in basic nursing procedures for nursing assistants.
Successfully completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program and has current certification and required in-services.
Minimum age of 16 years or older is required for this position due to Department of Labor regulations.
