Perform clinical and administrative duties including initial patient assessments and documentation. Assist providers with filling medications, placing orders, and managing patient communications.
Requires a high school diploma and specific medical certifications for Medical Assistants or LPNs. Candidates must hold certifications such as AAMA, AMT, CCMA, NCMMA, or an LPN license.
Performs work in the clinical and administrative areas of the practice as needed. Completes initial patient clinical assessment, documenting in the patient chart according to the description below. Assists provider by working within their scope of competency to fill medications, place orders, complete in-basket tasks, return patient phone calls and other duties as assigned.
Post high school/medical studies with certifications as Medical Assistant (AAMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMMA) required.
LPN - High school education required PLUS post-high school health/medical studies with certification required (LPN)
