Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary dysfunctions. Develop and adjust individualized plans of care while educating patients and caregivers to ensure functional recovery.
Requires a CAPTE-certified degree in Physical Therapy, a valid Florida state license, and BLS certification. Candidates should have at least one year of experience and the ability to work with adult and geriatric populations.
Provide evidence based assessment and treatment of a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to, musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary dysfunction to the organization’s patient population. A degree in Physical Therapy from a university program certified by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) is required, as well as, a current Florida licenses and CPR certification. Professionals are required to maintain formal and informal continuing education relevant to the acute care population and carry out all duties with empathy and compassion towards patients, families, caregivers and staff.
BLS, provided by American Heart Association (AHA), required within 30 days of hire. Level II AHCA Background Check required for Home Care. Must have good driving record. Valid Driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required for MVR Background Check for Home Care. Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorder (ADRD) 2-hour course (Home Care Only) required within 90 days of employment.
