Conduct patient interviews to determine medical conditions and document findings in the EMR for physicians. Perform clinical tasks including recording vital signs, assisting with examinations, and managing phone triage and specific lab values.
Requires a nursing degree from an accredited school and a valid RN state license with BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a BSN and 3 years of RN experience.
Interview’s patients to determine medical problem/condition and documents in chart (EMR) for physician, when necessary obtains and records patient’s vital signs including weight and assists physician with patient examination as needed and explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding and allay apprehension, maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs, manages lipids, protimes and phone triage of patient concerns.
