The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages. This includes applying the nursing process and incorporating specialty-specific competencies for the Emergency Room.
Requires a valid PA nursing license and certifications in CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE. A degree from an accredited nursing program is required, with clinical experience in acute care and specialized certifications preferred.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process. An RN in a specialty area would be expected to incorporate specific educational requirements and competency related to that specific specialty.
· Current license to practice nursing issued by the state of PA and current Healthcare Provider CPR required. · ACLS within one month of hire required · PALS within two months of hire required · NRP within six months of hire required · STABLE within nine months of hire required · Graduate of accredited professional nursing program · Minimum one-year clinical experience in acute care setting preferred · Certified Emergency Nurse and Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse certification preferred · SANE certification preferred
