The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages using the nursing process. They are expected to apply specialty-specific competencies and educational requirements within the Emergency Room.
Requires a valid PA nursing license, CPR certification, and a degree from an accredited nursing program. ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications are required within specific timeframes post-hire.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process. An RN in a specialty area would be expected to incorporate specific educational requirements and competency related to that specific specialty.
· Current license to practice nursing issued by the state of PA and current Healthcare Provider CPR required. · ACLS within one month of hire required · PALS within two months of hire required · NRP within six months of hire required · STABLE within nine months of hire required · Graduate of accredited professional nursing program · Minimum one-year clinical experience in acute care setting preferred · Certified Emergency Nurse and Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse certification preferred · SANE certification preferred
