- We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing home team.
- The CNA is responsible for providing direct resident care and assisting residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.

- This role includes providing hands-on care, physical and emotional support while maintaining a safe, comfortable home-like environment.
- PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant · Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene. · Help residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning using proper safety techniques. · Monitor and record vital signs, weights, food intake, output, and other resident information as directed. · Observe residents for changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition and report concerns to licensed nursing staff. · Assist residents with meals and hydration, including feeding assistance when necessary. · Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. · Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident requests with courtesy and professionalism. · Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to residents and their families. · Follow infection control, safety, HIPAA, and facility policies and procedures. · Complete accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
- Qualifications Required · Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing. · High school diploma or GED preferred. · Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members. · Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist residents according to facility guidelines. · Compassionate, reliable, and resident-centered approach to care.
- Preferred · Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care center, or assisted living community. · CPR certification. · Experience caring for elderly residents, including those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
- Physical Requirements · Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. · Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with or without assistance devices. · Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.
