Intraoperative Neurotech - ORMC IntraOp Neuro Monitoring - Full Time / First Shift

Position Summary

• The intraoperative neurotech uses various modalities of neuromonitoring (e.g., EEG activity, evoked potentials, and free-run and evoked EMG) to provide early warning to the surgeon and anesthesiologist concerning potential neural injury.

Responsibilities

• Applies electrodes accurately to optimize stimulus and recording parameters.
• Monitors artifacts in order to eliminate recording or electrical interference.
• Discusses procedures with patients in a professional manner in order to reduce anxiety and fear.
